Mission

Our Mission Statement:

To support and advocate for the Loveland Public Library and its mission “to inform, enrich and inspire a strong, engaged community”. The Friends generate current and long-term funding through volunteer involvement.

Our activities include:

  • Funding and sponsoring library programs, and special events for people of all ages, such as Summer Reading Programs, Kevin Cook Nature Series, and technology classes
  • Purchasing furniture, materials, and equipment which are beyond the library's regular budget
  • Advocating with local government for improved library services and funding
  • Fundraising activities, such as the semi-annual used book sales at the Ranch
  • Loveland Lights, a celebration of winter holiday traditions
  • Loveland Loves to Read, an annual one book, one community program
