Mission

Our Mission Statement:

The Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation, Inc. supports the Loveland Public Library's work as the information center of the community by advocating for the public support and use of the library, by generating current and long-term funding, and by developing volunteer involvement.

Our activities include:

  • Funding and sponsoring library programs, and special events for people of all ages, such as Summer Reading Programs, Kevin Cook Nature Series, and technology classes
  • Purchasing furniture, materials, and equipment which are beyond the library's regular budget
  • Advocating with local government for improved library services and funding
  • Fundraising activities, such as the semi-annual used book sales at the Ranch
  • Loveland Lights, a celebration of winter holiday traditions
  • Loveland Loves to Read, an annual one book, one community program
