About Us

The Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation is delighted to support fun, exciting, relevant, engaging, and important activities and services for our community. Here is a peek at a few of the things we are involved in.

Our Capital Campaign Committee raised $2 million towards the recent renovation and expansion of the library building. This project provided improvements such as:

  • 27,000 additional square feet of space
  • Additional meeting rooms
  • A dedicated teen area
  • A genealogy and local history center
  • A business center
  • A dedicated computer classroom
  • More than quadruple the number of public computers
Library Activities funded by the Friends include:
  • Summer Reading Programs for children and teens
  • The Traveling Storyteller in the Park
  • The Gaming Room in the teenseen
  • Noontime Nature with Kevin Cook
