2019 Loveland Poet Laureate Celebration

Sunday May 19, 2019 4:00 to 6:00 at the Rialto Theater Center

The Friends of the Loveland Public Library are helping to sponsor an event in celebration of Loveland's first Poet Laureate, Veronica Patterson.

Veronica has published five collections of poetry, and is well known as a teacher, supporter, and promoter of the arts in Loveland. She serves as a mentor for many local writers. Naming her as Poet Laureate provides an opportunity for a wider audience to see, hear, and celebrate Veronica’s many contributions to the cultural life of Loveland and to illustrate the many ways in which words, especially poetry, can illuminate our world. All lovers of poetry are invited to attend.

The event organizers are accepting donations to fund the event and to provide an honorarium through the Friends' donation page on our website. Select "Loveland Poet Laureate" under Fund/Program.
